Lindsay A. Sutcliffe is a lifelong resident of Beaufort County. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Sewanee: The University of the South and her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. She is admitted to the practice of law in South Carolina and Georgia. 

Prior to serving as Associate Probate Judge, she worked in private practice and dedicated her time to assisting clients through the estate planning and administration process. She is a member of the South Carolina Association of Probate Judges and the National College of Probate Judges.
