As a follow up to his public meeting held Sunday, July 14, Beaufort County Council Member Gerald Dawson (District 1) held a second public meeting this past Sunday, July 28 at the Burton Wells Recreation Center. The purpose of the meeting was to continue the discussion about the proposed zoning change at 126 Broad River Boulevard from Neighborhood Mixed Use to Regional Center Mixed Use to allow design flexibility for a proposed apartment project.

Council Member Alice Howard (District 4), Chair of County Council’s Natural Resources Committee, attended and guest speaker Eric Greenway, Beaufort County’s Director of Community Development answered questions from the more than 25 attendees.
