Alcohol and Drug Abuse Board
The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Board advises Council, County Staff, and County Departments in matters concerning the provisions of ongoing programs in prevention, intervention, treatment, and aftercare for alcohol and drug abuse problems. The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Department of Beaufort County is the sole entity authorized to receive funds for such purposes.
- Meetings are held regularly on the third Tuesday in February, April, June, August, October, and December at 5:00 pm. (Virtually)
- Meetings last approximately two hours.
- A background in substance abuse and/or addiction and a keen interest in community prevention activities is desired.
