County Council Member Thomas Reitz (District 11) is hosting a community meeting to discuss several important topics affecting the Hilton Head Island community. 

The meeting will be Wednesday, March 5, from 6-8 p.m., at the Hilton Head Island Branch Library, located at 11 Beach City Rd (map).

This meeting will be an open forum to discuss and answer questions on many topics, including:

• Continued relationship building between Beaufort County and the Town of Hilton Head Island
• Stormwater/drainage issues and an Island-Wide Master Plan
• Unoccupied commercial property in Beaufort County
• Protecting the undeveloped - open space that remains on Hilton Head Island
• 278 Bridge Corridor Project
• Green Space Program and tax update
• An update on 2018 Transportation Sales Tax Projects
