Beaufort County Veterans Affairs and US Department of Veterans Affairs have partnered to host a Veterans Assistance Expo Saturday, October 19, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. It will be held at Technical College of the Lowcountry, 104 Reynolds Street, Beaufort (map).

The Expo is free and open to all veterans and their dependents in Beaufort County.

VA officials will be on hand to answer questions and assist veterans with disability and pension claim filings for veteran and widow benefits, readiness and employment benefits, vendors and services from community partners and much more. 

A VA Human Resources representative will be available to discuss education and job opportunities with the Veterans Affairs Administration.

The Beaufort County Veterans Affairs Office assists veterans, their spouses and other dependents with access to government programs for which they are eligible. Veterans Affairs Counselors are available by appointment only by calling 843-255-6880.
