New Beaufort County Administrator Michael Moore Begins Tenure

Beaufort County Council is pleased to announce the commencement of Michael Moore’s tenure as County Administrator. Mr. Moore brings a wealth of experience in public administration and a passion for community service that will undoubtedly benefit our county and its residents.

County Council Chairman Joe Passiment expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointment, stating, “Michael Moore is a dedicated professional with a proven track record in public service. We are confident in his ability to lead Beaufort County towards a prosperous future. His expertise and vision will be invaluable as we continue to address the needs and aspirations of our community.”

Vice-Chairman Lawrence McElynn echoed these sentiments, adding, “We welcome Michael Moore and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our county. I have no doubt his leadership will help us navigate the challenges ahead and capitalize on opportunities for growth and improvement.”

The County Administrator plays a critical role in managing the daily operations of Beaufort County. Responsibilities include implementing policies set forth by the County Council, overseeing county departments, and ensuring the efficient delivery of services to residents. The Administrator also works to foster economic development, maintain fiscal responsibility, and promote a high quality of life for all citizens.
