The Finance, Administration and Economic Development Committee met Monday and here are some highlights from the agenda:

• Approval to Council of a resolution adopting the 2024 County Compensation and Classification Study
• Approval to Council of a resolution establishing the Beaufort County Internship Program and adopting policies and procedures for the program
• Approval to Council of an ordinance providing the appropriation of funds for FY 2024/2025 generated by Local H Tax
• Approval to Council of an ordinance providing the appropriation of funds for FY 2024/2025 generated by Local A Tax
• Approval to authorize the Interim County Administrator to enter into a contract with Haig Point Club and Community Association's Ferry Company for the provisions of EMS/Medivac ferry services for Daufuskie Island
• Approval to Council of Boards and Commissions reappointments of Melinda Ellis and Pat Harvey-Palmer to Lady's Island/St. Helena Fire District
