Four Shows to Premiere New Episodes on BCTV This Thursday

BCTV is having a quadruple premiere this Thursday starting at 7 p.m.

  • Be sure to catch the newest episode of another creative series on Beaufort County's BCTV: Live Work Play. In this episode, spend time with Tallulah McGee, Director of Beaufort County Animal Services and tour the County's Animal Shelter and adoption facility. We also get to meet some of the staff.

The Live Work Play series is created and produced by Broadcast Producer Troy Matthews. Each episode will vary in length and showcase the beauty and excitement of living, working and playing in Beaufort County. Troy is a lifelong Beaufortonian.

His work is both Emmy-award winning and Grammy-nominated in Documentary Sound category. He's worked for various news entertainment and documentary companies in New York City before returning to Beaufort County. 

  • Coastal Creatives is a series that showcases local artists and the community of Beaufort that allows them to create and display their art to the public. Each artist will have a chance to dive into their background, techniques, achievements throughout their career, and share how the Beaufort area has fostered their creativity.

Episode four features local artist Mary Segars, who specializes in oil paintings and works out of her studio at Atelier Off Bay Art Gallery.

  • BCTV's Festive Beaufort series' newest episode is out just in time for the summer! This series features local festivals across Beaufort County. This latest episode will feature the Art Market at Historic Honey Horn that occurred at the end of April.

Cassie Headden is a Walterboro, SC native and she has worked in television for the past 6 years. She is excited to be part of the Beaufort County Broadcast team and has a passion for creating new content for the channel. Her goal is to create shows that connect with, inform, and feature the locals of Beaufort County.

  • Welcome to Our Schools! In this episode we visit the awesome Ospreys at Lady’s Island Elementary School. The Osprey Student Ambassadors take us on a tour of the school showcasing the amazing things happening at Lady’s Island Elementary. We also speak with Principal Osborne and Ms. Greene, the behavioral management specialist, about the Osprey community and their plans for the school.

Keighla Pope is a St. Helena Island native and Claflin University graduate. Keighla has been at BCTV for almost 2 years broadcasting meetings and live events, working on shows and documentaries highlighting Beaufort County, and reporting the news headlines. Keighla rebooted Our Schools so that people in Beaufort County could see how amazing our schools are from the people that work on making the schools great every day.

New episode premiere times are as follows:

  • Our Schools 7 p.m.
  • Coastal Creatives 7:30 p.m.
  • Live Work Play 8 p.m.
  • Festive Beaufort 8:30 p.m.

The new episodes will premiere this Thursday across all BCTV television and streaming platforms.
