Beaufort County will hold a public meeting for the Middle School Access Road and Airport Frontage Road project--Phase 2 projects approved by voters in the 2018 One Cent Sales Tax Referendum for the Lady's Island Corridor Traffic Improvements.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, May 14, 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Lady's Island Middle School Gym, 30 Cougar Drive (map).

Phase 2 is a new road from Lost Island Road to Little Creek Road with bicycle/pedestrian accommodations, and it is proposed to close the Little Creek Road intersection at Sea Island Parkway.

The meeting will be conducted as an informal, drop-in format. There will be displays that depict the proposed design, and representatives from Beaufort County Engineering, J. Bragg Consulting, and Davis & Floyd will be available to discuss the proposed improvements, answer questions, and listen to feedback. No formal presentation will be made.

The proposed design exhibits and other project information are available on the virtual meeting webpage from Thursday, May 2, through Sunday, June 2.
