County Council Member Gerald Dawson (District 1) is hosting two community meetings. 

They will be held:

• Sunday, March 17, 5:30 p.m. at Burton Wells Recreation Center, Burton (map)
• Tuesday, March 19, 6 p.m. at Booker T. Washington Center, Yemassee (map)

Guest speakers and topics at the Sunday, March 17 meeting will be:

• MSgt Daniel Allen, Current Fraud and Scams
• Council Member Dawson, Update on the November 2024 Sales Tax   Referendum
• Beaufort County School District Member Earl Campbell, School Board Updates

Guest speakers and topics at the Tuesday, March 19 meeting will be:

• Guest Speaker- Jared Fralix, Assistant County Administrator Infrastructure, Update on Hwy 17 Traffic Signal
• Council Member Dawson, November 2024 Sales Tax Referendum

Both community meetings are open to the public and registration is not required.
