Beaufort County TV (BCTV) kicks off a new series tomorrow, Friday, February 2. In a partnership with Beaufort's Own, a local independent media organization that livestreams an array of sports throughout Beaufort County, BCTV will begin live streaming high school sporting events.

The first sports event to be live streamed will be Beaufort vs North Charleston boys and girls basketball games. The live stream will begin at 6 p.m. with girls basketball immediately followed by boys basketball.

In addition to the Friday night livestreams, the current partnership consists of BCTV receiving 12 hours of local sports content/games each week that will air on Saturdays and Sundays between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.  

The last time the County Channel live streamed local sports was the 2016 football season. 

The games will air live Friday at 6 p.m. BCTV can be found on cable channels Comcast - channel 2; Hargray - channel 9 and 113; Spectrum - channel 1304. BCTV also streams live on ROKU, Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire.
