The Beaufort County Finance, Administration and Economic Development Committee met for their regular meeting Monday afternoon. 

Highlights from their agenda included:

• Recommend approval of purchase and payment of handicap accessible playground equipment at Beaufort County's Port Royal Center
• Discussion of developing sites for diverse economic development
• Recommend approval to renew membership with Southern Carolina Regional Development Alliance 
• Discussion of elected officials' compensation
• Discussion and review of County Council's rules and procedures draft document

There were no matters arising out of Executive Session.

The next regular Finance, Administration and Economic Development Committee meeting will be Monday, October 16, at 3 p.m.

The next regular County Council meeting will be Monday, September 25 at 5 p.m.
