Beaufort County would like to thank all who participated in the Reimagine Ribaut Road Master Plan Open House, Thursday, September 14.

The Reimagine Ribaut Road project is an exciting planning initiative that aims to enhance the 5.5 mile corridor from Boundary Street to the Russell Bell Bridge. Beaufort County, City of Beaufort, Town of Port Royal, and Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. are working together to create a master plan for improvements along the corridor.

This plan emphasizes a "Complete Streets approach," looking at all aspects of Ribaut Road to make sure that it serves the needs of all users, whether you're on two feet or two wheels. Through detailed analyses of travel conditions for motor vehicles, bicyclists, pedestrians, transit, and other users, street connectivity, and land use and growth patterns, we'll develop a new concept design for Ribaut Road that better meets everyone's needs.
