The Bluffton Branch Library will officially re-open to the public at 9 a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
$844,000 renovation was needed as a response to usage, community feedback, focus groups, surveys, and a Space Study conducted in 2019.
During this phase of renovation, approximately 60% of the Bluffton Branch Library has been updated. The Children’s Area has been relocated, expanded, and enclosed.
A new large programming room dedicated fully to children’s programming has been added. The main fiction section for adults is in the front of the library in the space of the former Children’s Area.
The Teen Area will be relocated and enhanced. An additional community meeting room has been repurposed from a previous staff office. The branch also now features new furniture, flooring, and paint.
