The Palmetto Breeze Trolley Service begins its seasonal operation on Hilton Head Island Saturday, April 10. Trolley transportation will be available Sunday through Thursday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 1 p.m. to midnight.

This service remains free for all passengers and is expected to continue operating through Labor Day.

New stops this year include Shelter Cove Towne Centre, Folly Field and the Westin Hotel.

Safety precautions have been implemented including hand sanitizer, frequent cleaning and disinfecting. Passengers will need to have face coverings in accordance with local and County mandates.

This transportation service is provided by the Lowcountry Regional Transportation Authority, which operates the Palmetto Breeze Transit services.

Palmetto Breeze provides public transportation services in Beaufort, Jasper, Allendale, Colleton, and Hampton counties. In July 2018, Palmetto Breeze launched The Breeze, the seasonal public trolley service on Hilton Head Island, which connects visitors and locals to destinations along the Island’s busiest corridors.
