The County Channel Wins Southeastern EMMY for Best On Camera Talent/Host for Nature Series Coastal Kingdom

Coastal Kingdom, a TV program co-sponsored by The County Channel and the LowCountry Institute on Spring Island, was awarded its second Southeastern EMMY Award for “Best On Camera Talent/Host" at the annual event in Atlanta over the weekend.
To date, the Coastal Kingdom team has received seven Southeastern EMMY nominations. The Southeastern EMMY Awards are a division of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Coastal Kingdom, now in its 11th year, was created by Tony Mills a naturalist and educator on Spring Island and Rob Lewis, a producer for The County Channel. This is the third time Coastal Kingdom has been nominated for Best TV Host. The series also won in 2018.
