The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, via its Emergency Management Division, has implemented Operational Condition 1 status (OPCON 1). This condition is as a result of the national pandemic for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). A copy of the order is available here.
Beaufort County Council passed an Emergency Ordinance yesterday, Monday, March 16, authorizing the County Administrator to take the necessary steps to protect Beaufort County residents and visitors.
