The Beaufort County Treasurer announced that the 2019 tax bills were mailed out this week. Taxpayers can pay online by visiting mybeaufortcounty. Electronic tax billing is available for all property types, real and personal property as well as motor vehicles. Property owners who would like to receive their property tax bill electronically may sign up at any time by simply creating a myBeaufortCounty account.

 

For payments over the phone, a convenient, automated payment system provides the additional convenience for Spanish-speaking customers. Customers can dial 888-970-0624, provide tax and payment information and a receipt will be mailed within 7 to 10 business days. Checks should be made payable to the Beaufort County Treasurer and display the payer name, address, phone number and can be found on the remittance coupon. A remittance envelope with special tracking information is included with each tax bill.

Taxpayers wanting to pay in-person can visit one of the three Treasurer’s Offices located at 100 Ribaut Road in Beaufort, 4819 Bluffton Parkway, Bluffton or 539 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday except Wednesdays when offices open at 9 a.m.
