Community Services Committee

Mission Statement

The Community Services Committee facilitates and evaluates the delivery of community services through the initiation of policies and funding proposals, utilizing various providers through the solicitation, development, and leveraging of grant opportunities to complement the County's programs in serving its citizens.  The Committee’s Chairman is responsible for recruiting and submitting names of candidates for the boards, agencies, commissions, and authorities within its auspices; for example, matters pertaining to employees or people interested in purchasing a product or requesting the county's service.

  • Grants are to coordinate with staff development. Also, the solicitation of grants available for Beaufort County and its citizens will bolster the services being offered.
