The Risk Management Department
- Manages and administers the Workers Compensation and Property & Casualty Insurance for the County
- Processes insurance claims related to Workers Compensation, Tort Liability, Property, Vehicles, Equipment, Aviation, Data Processing, Professional Liability, Bonds and Cyber Liability
- Maintains all Workers’ Compensation, property, vehicle, equipment, aviation, liability insurance claim records for the County
- Facilitates monthly Safety Committee meetings
- Coordinates all safety and defensive driving training for the County
- Works closely with all departments to correct hazards in the workplace
Provide health and disability insurance for County employees (See Human Resources).
Compile vehicle and equipment repair estimates (See First Vehicle).
