Thanks to rising temperatures and the hard work of Beaufort County Public Works, Lowcountry Ferry will be resuming ferry service to Daufuskie Island. Ferry trips will resume today, January 25, at 1 p.m. Patrons are encouraged to use caution: shaded areas could still be icy, and temperatures are forecast to dip below freezing again tonight.
