Beaufort County Council Meeting Schedule for 2025; New Format and Meeting Times
Friday, January 10, 2025 2:26 PM
Beaufort County Council announced today that eight council meetings would be held in various locations around the County starting this month on Hilton Head Island. Council also voted to push committee meetings, caucus meetings and council meetings back to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. for committee meetings, 5 p.m. for caucus meetings and 6 p.m. for council meetings.
Adjusting the start of County Council meetings is in response to the public's concern in not being able to attend a 5 p.m. start time. With an emphasis on community participation and feedback, Council felt a later start time is appropriate.
