Beaufort County Parks and Recreation announced that the resurfacing project for the Shell Point Park Walking Path will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, November 26.

Paving crews will be preparing the site over the next two days, with resurfacing occurring Wednesday, November 27, depending on weather conditions. Visitors to the park and those wanting to use the walking path are asked to use caution when in the park and to avoid the construction areas. 

This project is funded through the Beaufort County Capital Improvement Projects.
