Beaufort County Transportation Construction announced that intersection improvements included as part of the SC 170 Near Term Project at SC 170 and Argent Road intersection (map) and at the intersection of SC 170 and SC 462 (map) have been completed.

Improvements included asphalt resurfacing, updated striping, and new intersection alignment. Additionally, retiming of the signals and reactivation of the left turn signal from SC 170 northbound onto Argent has occurred.

Motorists are asked to please be aware of the updates and new signal timing when traveling the area.
