Beaufort County is hosting a public open house for input and feedback on the draft conceptual plan for Camp St. Mary’s Park on Thursday, November 9^th from 4-6 p.m. Beaufort County’s Passive Parks Department Director and the planning consulting team will be on site to discuss the draft plan.

Camp St. Mary’s is located at 121 Camp St. Mary’s Road in the Okatie area of Beaufort County. The property is approximately 10 acres of pine/hardwood canopied open space owned by Beaufort County along the Okatie River. Passive recreation amenities proposed for the property include improved access and parking, a picnic pavilion with restrooms and improved access to the pier and dock.

Camp St. Mary’s Park is currently open to the public for access to the pier and dock only. The existing automatic timed gate opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. every day.
