Beaufort County Parks and Recreation is sponsoring free sports camps for children in the Seabrook and St. Helena communities.

The first sports camp begins Monday, July 19, runs through Thursday, July 22, and will be held at Dale Community Center, 15 Community Center Road, Seabrook (map).

The second sports camp begins Monday, July 26, runs through Thursday, July 29, and will be held at Scott Community Center, 242 Scott Hill Road, St. Helena (map).

Campers ages 6-8 will attend from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., and campers ages 9-12 will attend from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Additional activities will be provided for siblings and families accompanying the campers.

Parks and Recreation staff will offer individual, personalized instruction for each camper. Each camper will also receive a bag meal and beverage after their camp session.

The sports schedule for both weeks is as follows:

Monday-Basketball
Tuesday-Baseball/Softball
Wednesday-Flag Football
Thursday-Soccer

Families will also have the opportunity to register for Fall Youth Sports during Sports Camp.
