The 2021 edition of the Hurricane Guide was released over the weekend to coincide with the start of hurricane season which starts today, June 1.

The South Carolina Emergency Management Division officially launched hurricane.sc, an interactive website that will guide people through the fundamentals of being prepared for hurricanes and tropical storms.

Designed to be a quick, adaptive and flexible online reference, hurricane.sc is accessible on a desktop computer, a smartphone or a tablet.

In addition to the 2021 South Carolina Hurricane Guide, the SC Emergency Manager mobile app is a personal tool for emergency planning.
