Friday, January 29, 2021 2:15 PM
Beaufort County Council will hold its Annual Strategic Planning Session beginning Tuesday, February 2, Wednesday, February 3 and Thursday, February 4.
Sessions will begin each day at 10 a.m. and run until 12 p.m. Sessions will resume each afternoon at 3 p.m. and run until 5 p.m. All sessions will be live streamed on The County Channel.
“Beaufort County is one of the most desirable places to live and work and with that comes a sense of priorities which is why Council’s annual retreat is so important,” said Council Chairman Joseph Passiment. “Every Council member and resident has the opportunity to give input that set the priorities so the County can remain a desirable destination for living or visiting.
From affordable workforce housing, to education resources, expansion of employment sectors and infrastructure, to our beautiful beaches, parks and other activities—this retreat will be a three day conversation of priorities, budgets and action items that in the end will benefit all aspects of Beaufort County.”
All sessions will be virtual and are open to the public. To sign up for public comment, please sign up here. Comments must be related to an agenda item.
