Beaufort County welcomes the holiday season with the lighting of the Beaufort County Christmas Tree. County Council Chairman, Joe Passiment, hosts this year’s event with Scott Grooms from inside County Channel Studio while socially distanced. The tree is located in front of the Beaufort County Courthouse at the Robert Smalls Complex and drivers will notice the tree at night from Ribaut road. This video presentation also includes Christmas carols and a reading of “The Night before Christmas”.
