Important Reminders About Visiting Beaufort County Government Buildings
Monday, June 22, 2020 3:57 PM
As new cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in the County, Beaufort County Government strongly urges the public to conduct County business online, through email, or over the phone whenever possible.
If in-person assistance is required, members of the public are asked to call ahead to verify a department’s operating hours and make an appointment to help keep building occupancies low.
In the interest of preventing further spread of COVID-19, the County is operating according to public health guidelines put forth by Gov. Henry McMaster’s office, DHEC and the CDC.
All visitors are required to wear face-coverings.
All County employees have been provided with hand sanitizer and are required to wear face-coverings in the workplace.
All buildings will close to the public at 4:30 p.m. each day for disinfecting.
Beaufort County Council and committee meetings will continue to be held virtually for the time-being.
