Beaufort County’s Coronvavirus webpage includes current Coronavirus (COVID-19) information as well as helpful resources for families and individuals, businesses, education, and a mapping and statistics site with an interactive dashboard and comprehensive overview of the virus impact, symptoms and prevention guidelines.
There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.
Key Tips to Remember:

- Stay home if you're sick
- Cover coughs and sneezes
- Wear a facemask if you are sick
- Clean and disinfect
Residents should follow Prevention and Treatment Tips recommended by the CDC. We suggest that residents also follow CDC guidance for flu prevention, which includes frequent handwashing and staying home if you feel sick. If you are concerned about your health or are showing symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please contact your primary physician or healthcare provider.
