Deadline to Register to Vote in the Democratic Presidential Primary is Thursday, January 30

Per a notice from the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Beaufort County (VR&E), the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming Democratic Presidential Primary is Thursday, January 30. The Presidential Primary will be held Saturday, February 29.
Anyone wishing to register to vote can visit the VR&E office in person at either the Beaufort office or the Bluffton office. The Beaufort office is located at 15 John Galt Road (map). The Bluffton office is located at 61B Ulmer Road (map). Hours for both locations are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Citizens may register during normal business hours. Voter identification is required.
A voter registration application can be downloaded here. Completed applications can be emailed to Vote.Beaufort@Elections.SC.Gov or faxed to 843-255-9429 prior to 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, January 30; mailed to the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Beaufort County, Post Office Drawer 1228, Beaufort, SC 29901-1228, postmarked by January 30; or submitted online before 11:59 p.m., January 30.
