Both Locations of the Beaufort County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Department Closing at 2 p.m. October 11 for Staff Training

The Beaufort and Bluffton locations of the Beaufort County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Department will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 11 for staff training. Both offices will return to normal operating schedules on Monday, October 14.
The department is an affiliate of the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS), licensed as a healthcare facility by the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC), and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities ( CARF).
Prevention Coordinators and Treatment Counselors working from both office locations develop and manage outpatient services to prevent and reduce the adverse health, social, and economic consequences resulting from addiction and co-dependency.
