NOTICE: The Beaufort County Treasurer has received approval from SCDOR to extend the first and second penalty dates for 2020 tax bills.  For this reason the deadline for filing legal residence applications, agricultural use applications, and appeals (except for those properties that received an assessment notice,) for tax year 2020 has been extended to February 15th 2021

EXEMPTION FOR RESIDENTIAL BUILDER OR DEVELOPER FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION-DETACHED SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES

NO LATER THAN 30-DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
NO LATER THAN JANUARY 31 IN SUBSEQUENT EXEMPTION ELIGIBLE YEARS
